Dr. Raven Aleman
DNP, PMHNP-BC, AAT-I, CIMHP
Dr. Raven Aleman, DNP, PMHNP-BC, AAT-I, CIMHP, is a Navy Veteran, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas. Practicing since 2023, Dr. Raven’s journey into integrative mental health care is deeply rooted in her own pursuit of wellness.
At Fern & Fathom, we believe healing begins when you're truly seen, heard, and supported-mind, body, and spirit.
Initially committed to a rigid adherence to conventional medicine, she experienced firsthand both its strengths and its limitations. Through personal experience, she came to understand that true healing requires a comprehensive, individualized approach- one that embraces all facets of wellness. This realization became the foundation of her practice: honoring the uniqueness of each person and blending conventional treatments with holistic and integrative strategies.

What is a PMHNP-BC?
A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is an advanced practice nurse who provides comprehensive mental health care through assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapy. Combining clinical expertise with a holistic, collaborative approach, they support individuals and families in achieving personalized goals for recovery and long-term wellness.

She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University, a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from New Mexico State University with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
At Fern & Fathom, we believe healing begins when you're truly seen, heard, and supported-mind, body, and spirit.
Her practice is grounded in a collaborative, patient-centered philosophy that empowers individuals to take an active role in their healing journey. Dr. Raven brings a deep respect for both evidence-based medicine and integrative modalities, recognizing that medication is not always the sole answer. She prioritizes clear, compassionate communication and strives to help patients understand their symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment options.
